I also finished the last few things that needed to be done on the settings section. It all works now and I can start working on implementing all the different settings throughout the app. That should not take too long. After that (polishing aside), I can focus on other things, like:
- Adding more voiceboxes
- Dropping in new content
- Implementing new features
- Improve graphics
- Tweak the hell out of everything
I’m not decided on the order in which these things will happen, but I’ll keep you posted.

How do I get a version that will work on my Droid?

There is no version for Android (the OS that runs on your Droid). I’m afraid it’s not as easy as flipping a switch to make it work on other devices. I’d have to make a new app and I don’t have an Android phone. So, I’m sorry to say that it doesn’t look like it’s gonna be out for it any time soon.
Hi k am Justin I think Kitt should have gps mode for people when there in there car so Kitt should be telling how far you are and if your in another state Kitt can help you around
I love the classics! This app is awesome and brings back great memories! I’m a great fan of knight rider and this app will go great with my trucks tined windows and scanner light! Being able to play musicand run the app at the same time would be an added bonus. Thanks again!
iPod integration is a iPhoneOS 3.x feature and wasn’t available at the time iKITT was released. It would be possible now, of course! Nice idea. But I haven’t coded on it for a while. I’m really sorry about that. Never say never, though.
I am very excited for a new update. I do hope it will have these features-
1. Red light Scanner and sound
2. Be able to choose what phrase kitt will say instead of being random
3. I know this is too much to ask… but maybe some day be able to speak a few phrases and have kitt respond.
I don’t mind paying for your new app (instead of updating my old app). It takes money to keep these things moving and I don’t think we would all mind putting in a dollar or two to keep you going. Maybe you could update the old app to let everyone know there is an “ikitt 2″ with these great new features to purchase.

Thank you so much. It makes me happy to think that I did something in my life that makes someone smile. I would love to give you an update, but at the moment I just don’t know. It’s not about money and it never was.
One more thing… Can you add HUD. I have seen some other apps with it. It reverses the screen so that it will reflect off of your windshied and give a 3d effect.

Sorry, at this point, I am entirely unsure if there will be an update. This is due to personal problems and certain matters that worry me greatly. I can’t get into it, but there are issues to be worked out before I put my ass on the line again. Apologies if you ever felt that I was leading you one. That was never my intention.

I really wanted to make it the best KITT app out there. And I have so many ideas, many received from people like you! But I fear that if iKITT gets any bigger, it may cause problems in some places. I’ll have to get someone to figure this stuff out for me first!

Did you get a “cease and desist” letter from the company that owns the trademark to the Knight Rider franchise or something? Is the delay due to a legal issue to the rights of that brand?
